As you read books and participate in our Adult Winter Reading program, please join us for some fun activities at the library.
December 21: Beginning of Adult Winter Reading
Winter Solstice marks the first day of Adult Winter Reading.
January (every Monday, all day): Teatime at the Library
January is National Hot Tea Month, so come in and have a cup on us.
January 12 at 2:00pm: Book Group “Favorite Author” Discussion
Discuss your favorite author and what he or she means to you.
January 12 at 6:00pm: Chinese Brush Painting
Class is FULL. Come to library or call to join waitlist.
January 13 at 1:00pm: When We Were Kings
Award-winning documentary to commemorate MLK Day and upcoming African-American History Month. No sign-up required. Snacks will be served.
February 5 at 1:00pm: Paper Lace Craft
Space is limited. Sign up at the front desk.
February 9 at 2:00pm: Afternoon Book Group
Come to discuss Over His Dead Body by Leslie Glass.
February 9 at 6:00pm: Evening Book Group
Come to discuss American Lion: Andrew Jackson by John Meacham.
February 12 at 1:00pm: The Love Bug
The 1968 classic family comedy in honor of Valentine’s Day. No sign-up required. Snacks will be served.
February 14 (all day): End of Adult Winter Reading
Valentine’s Day marks the end of Adult Winter Reading, and we’ll be passing out Hershey’s Kisses.
