TableTop Day

Join us on Saturday, April 30 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm for a laidback afternoon of board games.

TableTop Day, inspired by Wil Wheaton’s hit web series, is an opportunity for people of all ages to gather in public and play board games. At the library we will have our large collection of games on hand, and you are welcome to bring your own to play and share.

Want to play more games? Join us every month for First Thursday Family Game Night and Last Tuesday Game Night!

Make & Play Games on November 21

Join us Saturday, November 21 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at Raleigh Park Elementary for Make & Play, a fun game design workshop.

Participants will be given a brief introduction to game design and a handful of game pieces and then encouraged to create an original game from scratch. Game designers and publishers from the local design group Game Lab will be on hand to help brainstorm, playtest, and answer questions about board game design. By the end of the program, you will have a game prototype that you can take home with you to refine and play. Everyone will be able to take home an original game of their own making!

We will also have tables reserved in the library for playing board games 10:00am-3:00pm as part of International Games Day. Choose a title from our large lending library of board games or bring your own.

Door prizes of will be awarded at the Make & Play event and during open gaming at the library!
