Summer Reading 2020 : Aug. 2-8

KIDS

Kids love buttons!  And guess what?  They’re perfect for teaching children about colors, shapes, sizes and numbers.  It’s all about the sorting.  Try some of these fun activities.  Enrich the experience further by introducing important vocabulary words like more, fewer, lighter, darker, bigger, smaller, bumpy, smooth, shiny, matte, plastic, wood, fabric, etc.  If you don’t have any buttons at home, make some with clip art or coloring sheets from google images.
